At the young age of 17, Paramore hit the music scene with their first pop rock album "All We Know is Falling." Their new album "Paramore" shows the maturity of the band and it's growth be feating music genres that include pop rock, psychedellic, and some gospel. The album was released in April and has been well recieved.
"It's great I'm going to go buy it right now cause its's so amazing," said Rebecca Hernandez, sophomore.
The lyrics are about growing up and not giving up. Hayley's voice is a powerhouse and gives strength to the words in the songs. She has voice that can make a song a hit.

"I like Hayley's voice. It's not too loud and obnoxious like other bands. It's nice to listen to. The lyrics are beautiful and soothing," said Suelyna Bun, senior.
With Hayley's voice on the mic, it would seem that Paramore has it all, but recent events have scared the band. Recently, two band members left and one was the main lyricist for the band. Josh Farro, the lyricist, left because he was not comfortable with the album "Brand New Eyes" and Hayley's dominance over the group. However, it would seem that the group has come out stronger than ever.
"It's a lot happier and brighter album than people might expect given what's happened. We've wanted to write songs like this for so long, but we weren't emotionally ready," said Jeremy Davis, bass player.
The new album is more positive. It is more fun and is unlike the more serious albums that it is following. Paramore is beginning a transformation that will speak to the younger generation.
"They sing about personal things that communicate to our generation and the music speaks to listeners." said Jocelynne Garcia, Sophomore.
