Last week,  the Lady Lion Golf Team competed in the Frisco Centennial Invitational at Westridge Golf Club and played extremely well. Both Laura Gerencser and Grace Parker shot personal best scores and Laura ended up placing 3rd over all out of 120 players shooting a 78.

 

​Laura Gerencser also made it to regionals last year.  Her previous best score was in the upper 80's.  This means that she improved by almost 10 strokes.  

 

Grace Parker, who has never shot in the 90's, shot a score in the 80's.  Her improvement is phenomenal and makes her a golfer to watch this year.

 

Between Laura and Grace, the Lady Lion Golf Team will be a sport to keep up with. Hopefully, these ladys continue to play well and possibly make it to regionals this year.
