From activities and experiments, to science fairs, socials, and peer tutoring, Laser Club enjoys it all. LASER stands for Learning, Science, Engineering, and Research.
“LASER Club was started by the students, namely Michelle Park, to help promote science, education, and technology,” said Mr. Moran, science teacher in charge of laser club.
In LASER Club, students participate in activities, and experiments. At other times, they take part in field trips to science museums, and research facilities. It’s also a great place for peer tutoring under anything that falls in science.
“What we do is get together and help other students in the field of science. We’re also part of the science national honor society, and we help students with scholarships, and their college resume.

Laser Club provides a great opportunity to learn more about science away from class time, and bring students who are really interested in science to one place. It’s highly recommended for students who need help with science, also to have fun in the process.
“So basically we provide an opportunity for students who are really interested in science to get together, and start networking with each other and hopefully bring that out into the world,” Mr. Moran said.
