High schools all around the nation have student athletes apart of their student body. Many responsibilities and efforts come with being one of those student athletes. Juggling schoolwork and your sport can be a very strenuous task on the various students.

Last week, the Lady Lion Golf Team competed in the Frisco Centennial Invitational at Westridge Golf Club and played extremely well. Both Laura Gerencser and Grace Parker shot personal best scores and Laura ended up placing 3rd over all out of 120 players shooting a 78.
Laura Gerencser also made it to regionals last year. Her previous best score was in the upper 80's. This means that she improved by almost 10 strokes.
